SewJo, a bespoke sewing business, creates handmade, personalised handbags and unique textile work for weddings. With a focus on creating a one-off piece of art for every individual customer, SewJo highlights that 'each and every item is a talking piece of textile art, something people are going to invest in; I cater for people who want something a little bit different'.
With a focus on unique, creative items for each and every customer, SewJo required it's very own talking piece to support the brand whilst attending events. The small business hoped for something that would grab the attention of passers-by at events, but also a piece of art that would capture everything that SewJo stands for...
From small purses to beach bags, laptop bags to handcrafted evening bags, wedding accessories and bridal cloaks, new Event Marketing Materials were required to not only promote new products, but to also identify the focus on British fabrics, the range of styles available and the personalised nature of each product.
Using SewJo's theme – the quality fabric ranges and focus on bespoke items for individuals were central to the design solution. Introducing an innovative focus point for the brand revolved around an oval shaped signage board, including the main business logo, a new floral artwork design and business contact details. A simple, yet creative approach allowed the floral, quality and handmade touch come to life. Using a thick, robust, unique shape board, the material was durable enough to promote the brand as well as attach handbags to truely showcase the attractive items at any event.
Consistent with the style of the Signage Board, SewJo required a Leaflet to distribute at events, which would give further information on the items and how individuals could get their hands on them. We developed a four page DL Leaflet, which incorporated images of the fabrics and products, combined with how the SewJo story began.
A delighted client, who was impressed that the final Event Marketing Materials, which created the desired impact. The project introduced freshness to the brand, with a touch of creative thought. I liked how all of the unique brand elements had been combined together through the new sign and leaflet, which enabled me to positively promote a business that I am passionate about, and see customers intrigued by my event presence".
