Forge Motorsport and the Successful Results of Black Friday
The much-anticipated Black Friday may have passed, but for many businesses, now is the time to review the day’s success and identify the next steps to provide future winning, rewarding campaigns for their base of customers.
What is Black Friday?
Now said to be one of the UK’s biggest shopping days, Black Friday sees a whole host of retailers offering dramatic deals and discounts on their products in the run-up to the Christmas period. Providing reductions both online and offline, the tradition originally came from America, with the national sale typically falling on the day after Thanksgiving.
Forge Motorsport’s Winning Black Friday Deal
Forge Motorsport utilise their in-house, state-of-the-art facilities to develop the largest range of replacement aftermarket vehicle parts. With the complete range of car parts and accessories proudly stating ‘Made in Great Britain’, Forge Motorsport combine product quality with dedicated customer care and after service worldwide.
The car parts manufacturer reported a record-breaking start to the Black Friday weekend, starting on Friday 27th November this year. With a huge 25% off their complete product range, dealers, retailers and domestic customers were able to purchase any Forge products online, insert their coupon code and reduce their cost.
The discount saw a huge increase in online purchases within a matter of hours. A day-to-day sale intake, for Forge, would generally consist of around 20 to 30 orders. During the Black Friday event, the motorsport specialists acquired around 250 single orders, from their loyal database of customers – a huge increase, well over 900% of usual trade.
The team at Forge Motorsport were delighted with the response to their first-time Black Friday deal and with an increase in daily sales of over 800% it has set a new record! It seems that many customers were happy to bag themselves a Forge bargain this Black Friday.
With the creation of new online marketing materials, by Areca Design, Forge Motorsport were able to promote the cost-saving deal to their online visitors, via tailored newsletter designs and website graphics. The website saw a huge increase in online visits due to their successful product offer. During the Black Friday weekend, Forge received a total of 6,442 session visits – an enormous 98% increase from the same date during the previous year.
Russell Butt, Business Manager at Forge Motorsport UK, stated:
"We decided to participate in this event, as we typically see a decline in sales at this time of the year. I am so pleased to report that it has been a huge success, for both the company and our customers. It not only surpassed all our desired aims and expectations, but all involved found it an enjoyable experience. We are happy, with all the creative support from Areca Design, that the Black Friday weekend was a huge success."
